everything begins with an intent
every action or inaction we make has a choice driving it.
even if something is "unintentional," there was a series of intentions that led to that action— for better or worse.
intention is the origin of movement— the invisible hand behind every thought and action. when we learn to hold that intention with awareness, it becomes more than choice. it becomes meditation.
meditation through intention
peace isn’t something that appears on command— it’s something we allow. a meditative state comes when we’re fully committed to what’s in front of us. it’s rare because our natural response is to resist it. distraction feels safer than stillness because distraction is a form of taking back control, even if the distraction provides no real satisfaction. hanging on to the control that comes with distraction is more comfortable than surrendering control to the task at hand.
it is not an easy task to become a tool or a vessel through which work is performed, but this is the flow state that often brings out our best work.
when we give ourselves permission to be absorbed— especially in the things we love— peace no longer has to find us.
we bring peace with us. meditation happens the moment we choose to let that peace guide us.
it is when we achieve ⊙.
manifestation through meditation
manifestation is not simply "asking the universe" or "willing something into reality." to truly manifest your desires requires an immense amount of discipline and sacrifice. there must be an equivalent exchange between you and the powers that be. during the meditative state we strive to achieve, we have already sacrificed a level of control to the work. during this time, our manifestations become clear; we can begin to clearly visualize exactly what we are asking for— a clarity that can only come from a clarity of intention.
to put it another way, "faith without works is dead."
you can place complete and total faith in your prayers or manifestations, but if you insist on retaining control over how your prayers are answered or how your manifestations are manifested, you'll never be able to receive what is already waiting for you.
everything that exists began first as an intent— a thought, a choice, a will. meditation refines that will; manifestation gives it form.
to live with intention is to recognize that creation doesn’t happen somewhere outside of us. it begins within, every time we act, choose, or allow.
